Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at the Best Western Plus Norwester Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation is required, and public transportation is not available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
