Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our housekeeping team as a Room Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and bathrooms, promoting a positive image of our property, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning, making sure all areas are tidy and organized.
  • Make beds according to hotel standards and replenish guestroom and bath supplies.
  • Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests, such as irons and ironing boards.
  • Perform rotation cleaning duties, including steam cleaning carpets and spring cleaning, as required.
  • Maintain work areas and equipment according to hotel standards.
  • Attend to guest calls, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
