Store Operations Manager

We are a dynamic and growing convenience store chain seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at our KWIK K VARIETY store.
Job SummaryThe Store Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the store, including managing staff, controlling daily operations, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations
- Direct and control daily store operations to ensure efficient and effective service to customers.
- Evaluate daily store operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily store operations to meet sales and customer service goals.
- Staff Management
- Manage and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members as needed.
- Merchandising and Marketing
- Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in the store, including selecting products and managing inventory levels.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
- Financial Management
- Plan and manage store budgets to ensure profitability and meet sales goals.
- Monitor and control store expenses to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Store Manager will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time is required.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Work ScheduleThe Store Manager will work 30 hours per week.
