Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Professor of Plumbing Techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in plumbing apprenticeship and plumbing techniques, as well as developing curriculum and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in plumbing apprenticeship and plumbing techniques
  • Develop and implement curriculum for plumbing programs
  • Assess student progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of community partnerships and industry ties
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees
Requirements
  • Red Seal Plumbing Journeyperson Qualification, 306A
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Minimum teaching experience in the welding field
  • G3 Gas fitters Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry acumen and experience
  • Strong math skills
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary low rise/ hi rise and ICI industry standards
  • Knowledge of current OBC regulations with particular reference to Part 7
  • Autocad literacy 2-D and 3-D
  • Microsoft 365 programs literacy (PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Excel)
