Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team supporting Information Technology Capital Accounting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring financial results, providing timely information and analysis, and supporting strategic and regulatory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide capital accounting analysis and oversight for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close processes.
  • Work with project managers and business leaders to prepare and revise budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of regulatory filings and respond to information requests.
  • Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to support business partners in evaluating and analyzing capital investment opportunities.
  • Ensure invoices are paid and purchase orders are processed on a timely basis.
  • Assist the senior leadership team in meeting financial goals and identifying cost savings initiatives.
  • Perform project and operational tasks with excellent quality and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and implement process improvement and efficiency projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce with a focus in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a related role.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of Power Plan or Oracle Financials.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
