Job Overview

AECOM is seeking a skilled Structural Engineering Graduate to join our Buildings+Places division in Markham, ON.

This is a full-time role expected to begin in 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting structural engineering designs, calculations, and sketches under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and applies analytical and design skills to solve engineering problems.
  • Conducts structural engineering designs, calculations, and sketches under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Uses computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
  • Prepares and reviews contract specifications, including cost estimates and quantities.
  • Undertakes site inspections of structures within a prescribed methodology.
  • Provides periodic site reviews to monitor a contractor's performance in construction, including attendance at site meetings and preparation of site visit reports.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have completed or will be completing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
