Job Title: Director, Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Supply Chain to join our team at Masco Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a supply chain strategy that optimizes transportation routes, reduces shipping costs, and improves delivery times.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in supplier operations.
  3. Design and implement inventory management systems and policies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize holding costs.
  4. Coordinate with the production team to develop and execute production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory levels.
  5. Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigating strategies to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.
  6. Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), performance reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
  7. Lead and manage the supply chain team, providing guidance, mentoring, performance feedback, and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the supply chain team.
  8. Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment to drive overall business performance.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA is preferred).
  2. Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is highly desirable.
  3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  4. Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  5. Knowledge of global supply chain trends and best practices.
  6. Strong understanding of supply chain management software and tools.
  7. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.
  8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  9. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  10. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
