Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at MBD Landscaping & Snow Removal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping services, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Organize the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, taking into account the specific needs of each client.
  • Schedule work to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials required for each project.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in landscaping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • May be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.

Experience:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in landscaping or a related field.
