Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for our investment solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with TDAM partners to support our distribution channels from a marketing/communications perspective.
  • Supporting the promotion and amplification of TDAM's ETFs.
  • Providing strategic direction for the development of marketing collateral.
  • Developing detailed content briefs/project plans and overseeing/manage the development of collateral to support the marketing plan for our distribution channels.
  • Ensuring collateral are delivered in a relevant format, efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships/expectations involved.
  • Managing external marketing efforts and initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong understanding of the investment and asset management space.
  • Well-developed critical-thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and TDAM's distribution channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence different stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • The ability to work on multiple priorities within a time-sensitive environment.
  • Knowledge of the role of different media and channel options, as well as their impact on achieving marketing objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
