Job Title: Business Development Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team at Travelodge Lethbridge. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Policies: Create and implement policies to support business growth and development.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of professional and support staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Administer Programs: Oversee the administration of programs to promote business investment and development.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Plan Development Projects: Develop and implement plans for business development projects.
  • Develop Venture Capital Sources: Identify and develop venture capital sources to support business growth.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Recruit and hire staff to support business objectives.
  • Respond to Enquiries: Respond to enquiries from the business community regarding development opportunities.
  • Develop Social and Economic Profiles: Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage business investment.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts to support business development.
  • Develop Marketing Materials: Develop a portfolio of marketing materials to promote business growth.
  • Evaluate Customer Service: Evaluate customer service and store environments to improve business operations.
  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Develop marketing strategies to promote business growth.
  • Develop and Implement Business Plans: Develop and implement business plans to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
