Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tunnels Engineering Manager to join our team at Black & Veatch. As a key member of our Geotechnical and Heavy Civil Business Line, you will be responsible for providing engineering and construction-related project management and technical oversight for domestic and international geotechnical and Heavy Civil projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and construction-related project management and technical oversight for domestic and international geotechnical and Heavy Civil projects.
  • Function as an engineering manager and technical specialist supporting project and pursuit teams on Heavy Civil projects.
  • Supervise multi-disciplinary engineering teams on projects of medium to high complexity and be responsible for the execution of assigned projects.
Requirements

We are looking for a professional with a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 11 years of related work experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in Tunneling, Dams, Buried Infrastructure, Linear Infrastructure, and/or Hydropower.

Preferred Qualifications

8 years of experience performing engineering-related duties with previous experience in Tunneling, Dams, Buried Infrastructure, Linear Infrastructure, and/or Hydropower.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
  • Hybrid Work Schedule (3 Days in Office/2 days Remote)
  • Typical office environment, typical construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation).
