**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Seasonal Second Cook to join our culinary team at Argus Properties' Eldorado Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting with various areas of line preparation, including scratch cooking, finishing, plating, and garnishing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Support the production of high-quality food, adhering to recipes and menu specifications
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to a positive and respectful team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A positive and respectful attitude, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Valid FOODSAFE Certificate required; WHMIS certification preferred
  • Ability to stand up to eight hours, and move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, a minimum of three days per week (including evenings, weekends, and holidays) based on business volumes and operational demands
