About the Role

We're seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst Senior to join our mobile team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a critical link between Business, IT, and Quality Assurance, you'll spearhead the creation and enhancement of a digital product that sets the standard in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs to define IT solutions and lead business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
  • Make impact analysis and effort estimates to advocate for and document IT solutions, interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
  • Support the development of solutions, monitor team velocity, and participate in test quality assurance activities and user acceptance tests.
  • Document User Stories effectively for Front End, Back End developers, and Quality Assurance, and identify and convey impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units.
  • Build a solid, reusable, and thorough system documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including project experiences in Agile SAFe mode.
  • Experience and knowledge in the insurance field, mobile apps, and proficiency in JIRA & Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Figma, Adobe Analytics & Swagger.
  • Customer-centric mindset, commitment to high-quality deliverables, and effective planning and organizing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, dynamic, autonomous, and open to changes, with excellent communication skills and adaptability to diverse audiences.
