Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Farm Worker to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our farm, including feeding and tending to animals, operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, and detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed and care for animals, including swine, in a safe and humane manner
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and plows
  • Detect and report disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Perform general farm duties, including cleaning and maintenance of farm facilities
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols
Requirements
  • Experience in farm work or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in a rural setting
