We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Worker to join our team at Ontario Limited.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending to animals, operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, and performing general farm duties.
Responsibilities- Feed and care for livestock, including swine
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Detect and address disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- Perform general farm duties, including setting and monitoring water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols
- Experience in farm work or a related field is an asset
- Ability to work in a rural area and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
The successful candidate will work in a rural area and will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.
