About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Tregunno Fruit Farms Inc as a General Labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes, as well as performing various tasks related to fruit and vegetable production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Management
    • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
    • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
    • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Packing and Harvesting
    • Pack fruits and vegetables
    • Harvest crops
  • Quality Control
    • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
  • General Labour
    • Weeding
    • Clean work area
    • Sort fruits and vegetables
    • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work outdoors in an organic farming environment, with exposure to orchard fruit and vineyard settings. The role requires the ability to work in a team environment and to be flexible with working hours.
