Catering Service Manager

At CHETAN CATERING AND TAKEOUT LTD, we are seeking a skilled Catering Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our catering service. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing staff, planning and organizing events, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make informed decisions
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Recruit and train staff to meet the needs of our catering service
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of customer service
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our catering service
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage events to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
