About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Service Manager to join our team at CHETAN CATERING AND TAKEOUT LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make data-driven decisions to optimize staffing levels.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
