Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing systems and quality control processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in developing and implementing work instructions and packaging specifications for various products.
  • Maintaining the Document Control Program for the entire site.
  • Developing and training on Open Point Lessons (OPL) and QA Alerts for the production floor and site.
  • Preparing daily and weekly quality reports for the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Monitoring and collecting information, data, and statistics for month-end reports.
  • Supporting the General Manager and Quality Assurance Manager in enforcing new quality goals based on product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Reviewing completed quality inspections logs and communicating issues or concerns.
  • Conducting inspections on customer returns and identifying quality issues and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Keeping track of quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Developing and overseeing product testing methods for new and existing products at different stages of production.
  • Organizing quality testing studies and using statistical methods (SPC) to analyze data and identify irregularities.
  • Investigating all non-conformity reports (NCR) and issuing quality as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree, diploma, or certificate in Engineering or Quality and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. A good understanding of manufacturing systems and knowledge of other office 360 programs are assets.
