About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its Adult Mental Health team working on the Sunshine Coast in Sechelt, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement psychosocial rehabilitation assessments and interventions for clients referred to the program.
- Collaborate with family members, healthcare professionals, and educational resources to achieve optimal health services and education.
- Provide occupational therapy services to clients with mental health conditions, including planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation programs.

Sechelt is a charming seaside community located on the traditional territories of the shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation, approximately 50 km northwest of Vancouver.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Two years of recent related experience in a psychiatric setting working with older adults, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
- Valid driver's license for local area travel.
