High Voltage Validation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Validation Engineer to join our team at SEGULA Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development and validation of Electrified Powertrain High Voltage Safety features across various vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize subsystem-level design validation plans to ensure the highest level of safety and quality.
- Perform design validation on HV features and strategies on system benches and in vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Analyze validation results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain HV system development properties, including subsystem bucks, tools, and procedures.
- Prepare comprehensive validation reports and track validation issues using appropriate tracking tools.
- Support the development of vehicle and supplier component high voltage specifications.
- Perform lessons learned and optimize existing processes, tools, safety features, and strategies.
- Provide problem-solving expertise at vehicle, system, component, hardware, software, and tool levels.
- Train and support first-run, triage, garage, and plant personnel on HV safety checkout procedures.
- Support compliance testing activities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Applied Physics, Systems, or Computer Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited or equivalent university.
- Knowledge of product engineering design and development, with a focus on systems and product development.
- Understanding of real-time systems, hardware, and software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and recommended practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate activities with cross-functional teams.
- Master's degree in a relevant field from an ABET-accredited or equivalent university.
- Experience with HV safety features, including isolation, interlock loops, and equipotential bonding.
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) requirements and FCA assembly plant operations.
- High voltage training and experience are desirable.
- Proficiency in SW INCA, CANalyzer, Canoe, MS Project, and Visio.
A US work visa, specifically the TN visa, is required for this role, and the candidate must be a Canadian citizen. This position requires working onsite for 5 days a week, 8 hours per day during normal working hours. It is a permanent and full-time position.
