Job Title: High Voltage Validation Engineer

Segula Technologies is seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Electrified Powertrain team, you will be responsible for the development and validation of Electrified Powertrain High Voltage Safety features across various vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize subsystem-level design validation plans (DVPs) to ensure the highest level of safety and reliability.
  • Perform design validation (DV) on HV features and strategies on system benches and in vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Analyze validation results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the validation process.
  • Develop and maintain HV system development properties, including subsystem bucks, tools, and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit validation reports, tracking and submitting validation issues on relevant tracking tools.
  • Support the development of vehicle and supplier component high voltage specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform lesson learned and optimize existing processes, tools, safety features, and strategies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the validation process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Applied Physics, Systems, or Computer Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited or equivalent university.
  • Knowledge of product engineering design and development, with emphasis on systems and product development.
  • Understanding of real-time systems, hardware, and software.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and recommended practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate activities with cross-functional teams.
