About the Role

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Develop and maintain large datasets, analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and present findings to senior management.
  • Data Quality and Management: Ensure data quality, manage and scale data solutions to meet business needs.
  • Business Metrics and Reporting: Define and report on key metrics, identify risks, issues, gaps, and dependencies within and across work streams.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data sources, and develop data pipelines.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document data models and flows, artifacts, and responsibilities to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL, experience working with data analytics/visualization software (Power BI preferred).
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, strategic vision, and ability to execute successfully.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work across functional disciplines and with all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to analyze/synthesize large amounts of information and present findings to senior audiences.
