**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our diverse and rapidly growing team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging client data to produce rapid insights through automated reporting and custom analytics.

The ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated, curious, and can work effectively with members of our data, analytics, and digital teams to deliver data-driven products to organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate a client's overarching business objectives into requirements and then into discrete projects that aim to provide insight and/or generate efficiencies.
  • Access, understand, query, and transform data from a large variety of data sources, each with its own set of intricacies.
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom automated reporting solutions with the goal of providing clients with rapid, actionable insights.
  • Design and coordinate experimental protocols in multiple departments to identify strategic efficiencies.
  • Communicate insights and methodologies clearly and succinctly to both technical and lay audiences.
  • Special projects, and other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • 2 years of experience writing complex SQL queries to transform and extract data from relational databases or data warehouses.
  • Experience writing R and/or Python code aimed at manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
  • Understanding of statistical principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate across teams. French-English bilingualism is an asset.
