About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at CAE Inc. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us make data-driven decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
  2. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
  3. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
  4. Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers.
  5. Be an active member of the business transformation.
Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.
  2. Industry experience working with data, coding and scripting (Python/Java/Scala/SQL/JS/Bash), and with Microsoft cloud services: Azure, Databrick, etc. is an asset.
  3. Experience developing and administering large data systems.
  4. Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
  5. Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server and CosmosDB.
  6. Experience with automated data pipeline and workflow management tools: DevOps, ARM, Data Factory, Airflow.
  7. Experience with Microsoft cloud services: Azure, Databrick.
Preferred Education

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1 year completed.
