Job Title: Pharmacy Operations Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Lawtons. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will provide pharmacy services and support to customers, medical practitioners, and other retail pharmacies working shifts scheduled by the Relief Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services, including disease state management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
  • Prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Assistants when available.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
  • Coach pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants (if applicable).
  • Collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Identify actual and potential drug-related problems.
  • Monitor medication adherence.
  • Provide patient counselling for new therapy and determine patients' understanding.
  • Exceed customer expectations through ROLES efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
  • Injection Certification.
  • Previous experience in a retail and/or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
