Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Lawtons. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription assembly and data entry
  • Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote pharmacy programs and services
  • Assist with compounding, pill pack assembly, and filing prescriptions
  • Support the creation and receiving of drug orders
  • Schedule professional clinical services, including medication reviews and health risk assessments
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including cycle counts and narcotic counts
  • Perform administrative duties, such as return to stocks and TMLs
Requirements
  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
