About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Railway Portfolio Manager to lead our MLX Bi Level Mk7 Overhaul project. This individual will be responsible for ensuring adherence to process, supporting execution and performance, and maintaining forecast Quality, Cost, and Delivery metrics. The successful candidate will also directly manage a team of Project Managers and ensure adequate support from Functions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our talented Business Development team and contribute to the local promotion of our portfolio, including maintenance and parts contracts. The ideal candidate will have experience in bid management and contract execution in the railway industry, as well as strong negotiation skills to secure variation orders in line with Alstom policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the portfolio of Projects for the MLX Bi Level Mk7 Overhaul, ensuring adherence to process and supporting execution and performance
  • Support tender reviews and robust transfer to Project's function
  • Maintain forecast Quality, Cost, and Delivery project metrics
  • Directly manage the team of Project Managers and ensure adequate support from the Functions
  • Negotiate variation orders in line with Alstom policies
  • Ensure all Project management related corporate processes & tools are implemented correctly
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • 10 years minimum of experience in bids and contract execution in the field of Railway business
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
