We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team in St-Bruno, Quebec. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing RAMS activities and related deliverables on assigned projects/programs, ensuring they meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments.

Purpose and Objectives
  • Manage RAMS activities and deliverables according to project/program QCD commitments
  • Support product performance by defining safety and reliability requirements
  • Coordinate RAMS contributors for the relevant scope (Train or Traction or Bogie)

In this role, you'll plan and pilot RAMS activities, assess risks and capabilities, ensure deliverables are adequate and accepted by customers, and demonstrate the level of safety achieved by Alstom Transport products. You'll also work with design, industrial, sourcing, validation teams, and other stakeholders to define measures to meet safety and reliability actions.

You'll be the point of contact for RAMS matters on the project/program, particularly for customers, and consolidate RAMS contributions from Coparts and external suppliers. Additionally, you'll perform safety and reliability design reviews, support issuance of Safety Authorizations, and manage RAMS resources to meet QCD commitments.

Job Specifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in railway safety analysis and demonstration methods and tools
  • RAM prediction and measurement methods and tools with 2-3 years of experience
  • Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical Engineering preferably applied to Railway products with 2-3 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including with third-party customers
  • Strong time management and reporting skills, sense of urgency, and customer focus
  • Familiarity with structured and organized approaches, hands-on approach, and fluency in English and French
