Job Title: Agile Systems Analyst

Job Summary: As an Agile Systems Analyst at NAV Canada, you will play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of our technology platforms. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining systems to ensure interoperability, reliability, and security. You will also be responsible for analyzing current systems, identifying errors, risks, or concerns, and collaborating with teams and vendors to determine and implement new system features, upgrades, or configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and monitor platforms, including IBM Jazz, Microsoft Power Platform, and Nintex.
  • Analyze current systems to identify errors, risks, or concerns.
  • Collaborate with teams and vendors to determine and implement new system features, upgrades, or configurations.
  • Develop operational automations to automate administrative tasks and procedures.
  • Administer and configure operating systems, including Linux and Windows servers.
  • Provide technical training and presentations of managed systems.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a secondary school diploma.
  • A college or university degree in a technology-related field and/or relevant training and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience supporting, monitoring, and maintaining platforms and applications.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience with monitoring, administering, and configuring networks and servers.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience administering and configuring operating systems, including Linux and Windows servers.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing operational automations.
  • Minimum 2 years of database expertise, including DB administration and creating complex queries.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is based at the Ottawa TSC but may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
