Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience. Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead a team of production staff and contribute to the success of our operations. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for directing and supervising fabricators, ensuring the achievement of labor standards, production schedules, and timely deliveries. You will also work closely with other departments to maintain an accident-free and efficient plant operation.
You will have the opportunity to analyze production operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance plant profitability. If you are a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect role for you.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A completion of high school required; post-secondary education in business, management, animal science, or a related field would be an asset.
- 3-5 years of supervisory work experience in a beef processing facility is preferred.
- Effective communication skills to lead, motivate, coach, mentor, and resolve employee conflicts.
- Knowledge of HACCP and Health & Safety concerns and GMP.
- Previous experience in a food processing industry is required.
