About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at TANDOORI FLAME INDIAN CUISINE LTD. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for our customers.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Inventory Management
    • Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and storing of supplies and ingredients.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our patrons.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

TANDOORI FLAME INDIAN CUISINE LTD is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be required to work in a team-oriented setting and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Language

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are 35 hours per week.
