Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to promote person-centered care, educate patients on health and wellness, and advocate for patient rights.
- Participate in care conferences, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices, research, and guidelines to provide exceptional patient care.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and professional development.
