About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Manager to join our team at Performance Auto Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between customers and financial institutions to obtain financing, insurance, and other necessary information.
- Prepare credit applications and provide alternative solutions for customers who are not immediately approved for financing.
- Examine paperwork with customers to complete transactions and build relationships to close deals.
- Engage with customers to up-sell financing, extended warranty, insurance, and chemical options to increase customer satisfaction and dealership profit.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information.
- Evaluate deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines.
- Maintain a lender guide of relevant programs and retain product knowledge.
- Analyze credit reports to recognize conventional deals and turn them over accordingly.
- Prepare cost special finance deals and profit sheets.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Automotive Financial Services experience.
- OMVIC Certification required.
- Dealer CRM system experience is required.
- Previous sales experience in an automotive, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.
- Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating with customers.
- Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
- Well-spoken, friendly, and articulate.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- Experience with Google Suite and Dealership Management Systems an asset, but not required.
- Ability to use computers and peripherals efficiently and be detail-oriented in using both.
- Must have strong written communication skills.
- Must be available to work on Saturdays.

***This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience, commission, and bonus earnings.***
Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Salary: $75,000 - $125,000 per year
