Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner

At EVRAZ North America, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Regina team. This dynamic role is a key stakeholder to multiple mill Superintendents, General Supervisors, and all first-line leaders, requiring exceptional collaboration skills and a proven ability to build strong, productive relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees and members of management, exercising considerable judgment and discretion.
  • Collaborate with the business to develop a strong HR Business Partner relationship with the operations team.
  • Ensure the HR function's priorities and efforts are customer-centric and aligned to the execution of the business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a robust and sustainable talent pipeline around technical positions.
  • Affect cultural change to a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure transactional basics are functioning and delivering effective and efficient services.
  • Develop, manage, and enhance training and development programs.
  • Provide consultative support to management for the consistent and appropriate application of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a strong human resources business partnership with operations teams.
  • Experience administering Labour Relations activities, including collective agreement administration, grievance and issue management, collective bargaining, union/management relations, performance management, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Comfort working in a heavy industrial mill/manufacturing environment.
  • Mature, collaborative, hands-on, and tactically focused leader.
  • Organized, communicative, and able to maintain confidentiality.
