Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and organized Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Frisby Ridge Teriyaki. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high-quality standards, and training staff to meet our expectations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant setting, and possess excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate the kitchen team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays.
- Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality standards.
- High school graduation certificate.
