Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of park equipment.
  • Supervise and train a team of millwrights to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  • Conduct daily and routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the park's equipment and attractions are always running at optimal levels.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid Journeyman Millwright Trade Certification.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a related millwright-based position, with a strong practical mechanical background.
  • Previous supervisory experience and training is required for this role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety measures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work at heights, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including noise and humidity.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for project-specific work.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
