Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of industrial mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts, components, or systems, and test the repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with multiple supervisors and team members from various trades to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Work flexible shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime, as required by the project.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Millwright certification, Red Seal preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient in the safe and efficient use of machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools.
  • Ability to travel interprovincially during shift rotation.
  • Meet all physical requirements, including climbing, working at heights, and confined space work.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
