Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at REGIONAL SEWER AND WATERMAIN LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and bulldozers, to perform tasks such as excavation, demolition, and trenching.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and refilling equipment tanks.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Operate hydraulic pumping systems and ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in various locations.
  • Work will be performed in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Language:
  • English or French.
Hours of Work:
  • 35 hours per week.
