Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 per yearAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our Rider Team in enhancing the overall experience of our riders. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies that enrich the lives of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define technology roadmaps and architectures based on business needs
  • Lead large-scale projects from concept to successful execution
  • Design and implement well-crafted, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Incorporate business context and failure modes into your work
  • Proactively resolve ongoing incidents and participate in code reviews
  • Share knowledge through brown bags, tech talks, and promoting best practices
  • Support internal partners and communicate results effectively
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of industry experience with high-level programming languages (bonus points for Python or Go)
  • BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Science, related field, or relevant work experience
  • Experience defining API schemas and developing backend services in microservices environments
  • Working knowledge of databases, relational or NoSQL
  • Clear and scalable design documentation experience
  • Designing, building, and improving team-owned components experience
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new problems and technologies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
