Product Analyst Lead, Rider Strategy

The Rider team at Lyft is responsible for accelerating the growth of active riders and delivering top business goals related to rider experience and performance.
We're looking for a Product Analyst to drive deep dives and product analyses, communicating key trends in our data to leadership.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, and takes ownership of their workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop hypotheses and analytical frameworks for understanding market dynamics and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Influence business strategy and product roadmaps through insightful analytics and business modeling.
- Analyze rider product and behavioral trends, providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate areas of improvement and business growth opportunities within our business.
- Develop frameworks and deliver analyses to guide decision-making and prioritization across Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Data Science.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles in a technology company, or an equivalent analytical role in a high-growth startup.
- Experience leading high-visibility projects and influencing others in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong ability to build decision-making frameworks and data analysis, understand business issues, analyze large datasets, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to drive results.
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to independently break down large datasets and synthesize inputs from multiple sources.
