Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at AGS Automotive Systems. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and remedying electrical problems in our plant, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems.
  • Repair and maintain production equipment, including programmable controllers, VFDs, and robotic systems.
  • Install and adjust new equipment or new parts to support growth and continuous improvement of production operations.
  • Maintain and repair building equipment, including air compressor systems, water treatment systems, and lighting.
  • Develop, correct, and verify robotic path motions to ensure safety, quality, and equipment efficiency.
Requirements
  • Licensed Industrial Electrician 442A with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant practical experience.
  • Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with robotics (KUKA or ABB considered an asset).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team player, able to interact with all levels within the organization.
