About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Little Turkish Village Dining Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create new recipes and menus that showcase our Turkish cuisine and meet high quality standards.
  • Supervise cooking staff and provide guidance on preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and special functions.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, and oversee inventory management.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a head chef or in a senior culinary role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Turkish cuisine and ability to create innovative dishes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
