Job Title: Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Singh & Johal Medicine Professional Corporation.

About the Role

As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to address a wide range of health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to identify health concerns and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat various health conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare services.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and therapies as needed to manage patient health.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in family medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
