Payroll and Benefits Manager

At PixMob, we're looking for a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Manager to join our team. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you'll be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle, including processing regular employee payroll, preparing government remittances, and ensuring compliance with Canadian and US provincial laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource person for all questions relating to payroll and benefits.
- Ensure proper time entry and approval of timesheets.
- Process regular employee payroll and other remuneration elements.
- Prepare government remittances.
- Support managers with questions related to employee timesheets and payroll.
- Produce employment records for all employees.
- Answer employee questions about payroll and benefits.
- Ensure the end-of-year process, including T4 and Relevé 1.
- Produce various financial reports relating to payroll and benefits.
- Participate in the end-of-fiscal and calendar year process.
- Actively support the director in managing the group insurance program.
- Follow up on salary insurance files and work accident files.
- Implement and manage an RRSP program with employer contribution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (administration, accounting, human resources management).
- Member of the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) - level 2.
- 5-8+ years of experience in payroll and benefits management, ideally in an SME.
- Experience in managing group insurance, retirement plans, and CSST.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and a payroll system.
- International payroll processing experience is an asset.
- Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English).
- Knowledge of Canadian and US provincial legislations is an asset.
