Job Title: Recruitment Officer

Jobs For U is seeking a skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and analyze staffing needs to determine recruitment strategies
  • Develop and implement recruitment plans to attract top talent
  • Coordinate the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Provide information and services to employees, including employee assistance and counseling
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract candidates
  • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the required qualifications
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
