Project Quality Director

Aecon is seeking a highly experienced Project Quality Director to join our team on the Darlington New Nuclear Project. As a key member of the JV Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for setting the overall direction for JV Quality and ensuring that the JV is fully supported from a Quality standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish standards and expectations for how we conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) across all projects within the JV.
  • Manage staffing requirements and resource sharing for the QA and QC department.
  • Provide standardized reporting for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functional areas.
  • Manage the performance and strong results of Quality personnel on all the JV projects.
  • Own the Quality Assurance Program and monitoring to ensure appropriate planning, development, documentation, and maintenance of the quality assurance programs is executed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years project experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leadership/management role.
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance Programs and processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field.
  • Certification(s) in: Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), and/or ISO-9000 Auditor.
