Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Jot Flooring & Renovations Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial structures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts and ensure compliance with building codes
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction projects
- Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware
- Supervise and coordinate with other workers
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Maintain and repair residential and commercial structures
You will work in a fast-paced commercial and industrial setting, with a focus on residential construction. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in carpentry or a related field
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
