Jardeg-Construction is seeking a highly skilled Mine Welder to join our team at IOL Kearl. As a Mine Welder, you will be responsible for welding and repairing heavy machinery and equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld and repair heavy machinery and equipment using various welding techniques and equipment
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Develop and implement welding procedures and techniques to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery

Requirements:

  • Provincial Alberta Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification
  • CWB FCAW All Position welding ticket
  • Experience in heavy mine maintenance equipment
  • Experience in Ice Lugging and equipment repair
  • CSO
  • First Aid – Standard Level A or C Certification
  • A&D and Mask Fit Test
  • Basic Rigging
  • Forklift Certification - considered an asset
  • Aerial Work Platform - considered an asset
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection - considered an asset
