At JEAPT WELDING INC., we are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for assisting structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in various tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include operating metal cleaning equipment, immersing metal products in cleaning solutions, and assisting in the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Load and unload vehicles

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
